If you want to buy or sell a home without the stress and headache of buying or selling a home, Amy is your go-to realtor. She works on your timeline, and goes above and beyond when negotiating the terms of a sale. She doesn’t opt for a generic buyer/seller contract, rather she will tailor it to get the best deal for her clients, often adding things in that save you thousands alone. We will definitely be using Amy in the future when we require her services again.
Amy is indeed one of a kind. When my girlfriend sent me a link to an open house just walking distance to my office, I decided to take a quick look. Amy happened to be hosting. We were in the early phase of the buying process, so we weren’t really taking things too seriously. We didn’t have a realtor set in mind, and the ones my friends and family tried to refer tended to be pushy, and I just wanted to take my time with the process and not have to dodge calls from realtors daily.
Amy was very helpful during this first interaction, and I had a strong feeling she was on our level in terms of what we expected from a realtor. Even so, I was a bit hesitant giving her my information, as I knew this would preemptively start the whole process, and the daily calls would start. Amy sensed this, and assured me she was not the type to badger her clients, I.E., she works with them on their own timelines, I was relieved. Before I left her open house, she mentioned she does a free first-time buyer consult with prospective clients, I told her I’d follow-up in a week after discussing with my girlfriend.
Fast forward two weeks, we arrive at Amy’s office for our consult. She went over all the micro and macro details of purchasing a home, the entire step by step process, and all the little details you wouldn’t usually think of. We walked out of our first meeting with Amy feeling pretty confident. After discussing a little more, we decided she was the right realtor for us.
That was only the beginning; the real magic of Amy Tsang shined once we decided to start the search process. Amy gave us access to her proprietary search platform that allows us to search, compare, and save properties. She would then send us listings that matched what we were looking for within our price range. Once we had a good handful of properties, we went with Amy to visit each one. The whole process seemed surreal, as I always thought that buying a home was much more time consuming and stressful, but I guess having a realtor like Amy makes the process a breeze.
Once we found our favorite home (a 3 bedroom 3 bath with TWO master walk-in closets), it was just a bit out of our price range, but with Amy’s help, we were able to purchase $10,000 below asking price because of her relationship with the local agents. We were ecstatic, though we knew the real battle was just starting: the loan funding process.
Amy told us she works seamlessly with her recommended lender, and that we could close in two weeks. It was really hard not to laugh at this point, but I politely smiled. I told my family, friends, and colleagues about the two-week closing process and they laughed me out of the room. “Good luck with that”, “come back in 30 days, you’ll still be submitting paperwork”, “I have some essential oils I can sell you” were just a handful of the responses I got. At this point, we had the contingencies in place following a two-week timeline, and I expressed concerns about the two-week process to Amy. She repeatedly assured me that her lender is the best, and they get things done. I was partially relieved, but it was one of those “I’ll believe it when I see it” situations.
Two weeks go by, and sure enough, WE CLOSED! It was a HUGE relief. Amy, her lender, and the escrow all pulled through flawlessly and on time. It made me question all those Nigerian Prince emails I’ve received over the years, offering me millions, and made me wonder if I had missed out on some legit business opportunities, but I digress.
All in all, if you want to buy or sell a home without the stress and headache of buying or selling a home, Amy is your go-to realtor. She works on your timeline, and goes above and beyond when negotiating the terms of a sale. She doesn’t opt for a generic buyer/seller contract, rather she will tailor it to get the best deal for her clients, often adding things in that save you thousands alone.
